2002 Antares A-10 Trike w/ Aeros Stream 16m Wing
Price $7500 obo
This 2002 Antares A-10 trike is an incredible and notable machine as it is the very first production A-10 trike made by Antares (serial # 001)! Powered by the legendary Rotax 503 UL DCDI (dual carb/dual ignition), this engine only has 12 hours on it and runs as smooth as silk! With a 2-blade Ivo prop mounted, it has the power to fly the heaviest pilot and still remain Part 103 legal. The 3/4 pod is made of sturdy fiberglass, and with the wheel spats and paint job, has a real "Hot Rod" look and attitude! The full cockpit includes airspeed indicator, tachometer, exhuast gas temperature, cylinder head temputure and hour meter guages along with 2 'Ram' ball mounts, and the BRS ballistic reserve parachute is easily deployed with the handle mounted just in front of the seat alongside the cruise control throttle. Other notable items: 5-gallon fuel tank, Azusa aluminum rims, front drum brake, fiberglass 'spar' rear suspension.
The Aeros Stream 16m wing is in immaculate condition with even fewer flight hours than the chassis! It is an easy to fly, fast, king-posted, double-surface wing, with great cross-country abilities and has a maximum load rating of 992 pounds. With practice, this wing can be rigged and ready to fly in about 30 minutes. The wing colors and design match the trike completing the "Hot Rod" look, and this combination doesn't just look good, it performs just as well!
Formerly registered as an 'Experimental', and N-numbered: N2620T, this registration is on hold until 10/05/2027 and can easily be converted to an 'Active' registration with an annual and a bit of paperwork.
Or... fly it as an ultralight (with no license required) under Part 103 regulations. Extras included: Lynx helmet and comms, long-pack wing bag with packing pads, custom tailgate extension and portable winch system to allow one-person to load/unload into a truck bed for transport.
